Across two days in Bali, one theme was clear: the most future-ready organisations are not reacting to volatility - they are operationalising advantage inside it.

Inside the ACES Summit 2025, leaders moved beyond rhetoric, sharing how ESG, digital acceleration, and people-centred leadership are being operationalised at scale.

Leaders across ASEAN gathered in Bali for ACES Summit 2025, where discussions centered on resilience, digital readiness, and responsible leadership in an era of volatility.

ESG Is Now Embedded in Core Strategy

At Henderson Land, Johnny Yu outlined the GIVE 2030 Sustainability Vision, targeting a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 - supported by green-certified flagship developments and digital twin integration.

Maynilad Water Services demonstrated how sustainability can be capital-backed, raising ₱15 billion via a Blue Bond to scale climate-resilient infrastructure. Service coverage now stands at 94.8%, with water losses nearly halved.

Summit poll results show 56% of leaders prioritising ESG-specific commitments, with climate action and green technology leading organisational agendas.

Digital Capability Is a Resilience Multiplier

From AI-driven leak detection to operational analytics, digital infrastructure is becoming foundational.

At SanDisk Malaysia, Dato’ Kim Lee Bock shared the RESET discipline (Reimagine, Empower, Simplify, Excel, Transform) - a structured approach used to shift a reactive function into a future-ready operation.

Across the summit, 28% of leaders identified innovation and digital transformation as the greatest driver of ASEAN’s future readiness.

Culture Has Become a Performance Lever

At Globe Telecom, 1,600 non-sales staff voluntarily mobilised to support broadband distribution during the crisis - driven by purpose, not mandate.

Summit findings revealed 51% of leaders consider transparency and open communication the most critical factor in building resilient, inclusive teams.

High-trust cultures, mentorship structures, and psychological safety are no longer “soft” considerations - they are operating discipline.

Leadership in ASEAN is shifting. ESG is strategic. Digital is infrastructural. Culture is measurable.

The fastest moving organizations are not waiting for perfect clarity. They are building systems that make resilience repeatable.

These highlights capture only selected leadership moments and preliminary findings from the ACES Institute’s regional study.
