Speaker's Profile

Ren Li is the founder of Letright Industrial Corp. Ltd. and a key pioneer in sustainable outdoor furniture manufacturing. He transformed the company into a top-tier Chinese player by embedding sustainability early - halting wooden umbrella production in 2001 and introducing Polywood in 2007 to reduce wood usage.

Under his leadership, Letright delivers innovative, energy-efficient products such as the Ombra Smart Pergola, reinforcing his belief that businesses must balance profit with environmental responsibility. His approach has positioned Letright as a leader in sustainable outdoor living and a contributor to global carbon reduction.

Jointly organised by Monash University Malaysia and ACES Institute, this high-level dialogue features Ren Li, Founder of Letright, in an industry sharing and moderated dialogue on responsible leadership in Asia, also reflecting Monash University's commitment to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), which is to advance discourse and practice in responsible leadership in Asia.

The session centres on how sustainability, innovation, and values-driven leadership can continue to shape resilient, future-ready businesses while elevating Asian perspectives in global business discourse.
