Commitment to Sustainability and ESG Goals

ABC is dedicated to sustainable growth, focusing on three key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars: Healthy Living and Community Support, Environmental Stewardship, and Responsible Sourcing. These commitments reflect the company’s core value of “We Do the Right Thing.” By addressing high-priority issues, ABC ensures its business practices create the greatest possible impact.

As part of its commitment to responsible production, consumption, and overall well-being, ABC supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Zero Hunger. The company partners with various organizations to fight food insecurity, providing relief during challenging times, such as natural disasters, social unrest, and global pandemics.

Since 2015, ABC has donated nearly 1,000,000 food packages to communities in need across Indonesia. This initiative aligns with The Kraft Heinz Company’s global ESG mission, which aims to provide 1.5 billion meals to people in need by 2025. In 2020 alone, 206 million meals were distributed worldwide through strategic partnerships.

Extending the Spirit of Togetherness

For decades, ABC has celebrated Ramadan alongside the Indonesian people. In 2022, the company revived its signature Ramadan Charity Program with the “#SatuResepSeratusKebaikan” (One Recipe for One Hundred Kindnesses) campaign. This initiative connected three essential elements of Ramadan: the cultural tradition of preparing special meals, the social spirit of sharing, and the engagement of small acts of kindness.

Through this campaign, ABC successfully distributed 120,000 food donation packages to families in need across nearly 600 areas in Greater Jakarta, Java, and Bali. The project was made possible through collaborations with FoodCycle Indonesia, the Indonesia Waste Picker Association, and Sayurbox. By leveraging these partnerships, ABC expanded its reach, ensuring a structured and efficient food distribution process.

A Global Mission for Food Security

The Kraft Heinz Company remains dedicated to addressing global hunger through its Healthy Living & Community ESG pillar. With the ambitious goal of delivering 1.5 billion meals by 2025, the company continues to strengthen its hunger relief and nutrition support programs worldwide.

ABC’s food donation programs contribute to key priorities outlined by the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases, as well as several of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These efforts include continuous improvements to product nutrition, responsible marketing, and alignment with credible science and public health goals.
