More about

Shell Pilipinas Corporation

Supporting Customers Through a Diverse Energy Portfolio

For more than a century, Shell Pilipinas Corporation (SPC) has supplied energy products and services across the Philippines.

Today, SPC’s portfolio includes fuels, lubricants, electric vehicle (EV) charging offers and electricity-related solutions that serve a range of customer needs. The company continues to expand access to EV charging through its network and commercial arrangements in the Philippines.

SPC also offers products and services that may be relevant to customers seeking to diversify their energy mix, depending on their individual circumstances and objectives.

Alongside its commercial activities, Shell Pilipinas continues to focus on how it operates, supports employees and contributes to communities where it is present.

Supporting Communities Through Employee Volunteerism

Through Shell ACTS (A Community That Serves), Shell Pilipinas employees contribute their time and skills to community programmes across the country.

Around 1,900 employee volunteers have participated in initiatives including the installation of solar home systems that provided 70 Dumagat households in Sto. Niño, Rizal with access to electricity.

These activities reflect the company’s focus on employee engagement and community participation through skills-based and volunteer-led programmes.

Circularity and Resource Recovery Initiatives

Shell Pilipinas has supported projects that promote resource recovery and the reuse of materials.  Its retail station in Bulacan incorporated materials derived from processed plastic waste.  In addition, Ecohub projects in Batangas, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro have supported the production of ecobricks and ecocast products. Working with the Plastics Credit Exchange, Shell Pilipinas also supported the production and distribution of 110 bicycle racks made using approximately 3,000 kilograms of processed plastic waste.

The company has also incorporated circularity approaches into operational and community programmes. Through the Shell Plasticycle Program, between four and six tonnes of used plastic pallets were converted into more than 150 school armchairs for public schools.

In addition, the ReShell: Weaving Waste Project established a textile recovery and weaving hub in Payatas through collaboration with ANTHILL, Maybank Foundation, and the Quezon City local government unit. The hub provides training and livelihood opportunities while converting textile waste into reusable materials.

Community Programmes Through Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc.

Through Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), Shell companies in the Philippines continue to support programmes that address community needs.

Now in its 44th year, PSFI reports that its programmes have reached around 17 million beneficiaries,

In 2025, PSFI’s community activities included mangrove planting and coastal clean-up initiatives. A total of 7,360 trees were planted across Batangas, La Union, Calapan, Palawan, Pasacao, Bacolod, Iloilo, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro.

In Palawan, approximately 200 participants planted 200 mangrove propagules in Barangay Bagong Silang. Shell and PSFI volunteers also participated in the International Coastal Cleanup in Puerto Princesa.
