As Sarawak's sole integrated cement manufacturer, the Group invests heavily in expanding local production infrastructure, exemplified by its RM 673 million commitment to Clinked Line 2 at the Mambong facility. Upon completion, annual clinker output will more than double to 1.9 million MT, eliminating import dependency entirely.
The Group also actively embeds sustainability into its industrial operations by integrating energy-efficient systems such as Waste Heat Recovery System, generating up to 6 megawatts of clean energy, advanced dust filtration operating with emissions below 50% of regulatory limits, and strict environmental compliance protocols across its manufacturing sites.

Beyond cement, Cahya Mata is shaping Malaysia’s industrial future. The Group spearheaded a decade-long investment into the nation's first yellow phosphorus complex at Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu. With an annual capacity of 48,000 metric tons, the facility will supply critical inputs for semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, while eliminating import dependency.
Innovation also extends to infrastructure resilience. Through its Road Maintenance SBU, Cahya Mata deploys an AI‑enabled real‑time defect monitoring system across approximately 3,500 km of Sarawak roads, ensuring rapid emergency intervention during severe monsoon seasons.
