Each of these plants has an impressive 2 MW electricity generation capacity, actively contributing to the national grid. Besides, TDM has taken a significant step towards greater energy efficiency by transitioning from conventional lighting to energy-efficient LED lighting. TDM’s commitment to sustainability extends to the meticulous monitoring and reporting of GHG emissions. In 2022, TDM significantly reduced its net GHG emissions, marking a 16.6% reduction from the previous year. In ensuring that sustainability is integrated into our long-term growth, our Board of Directors are responsible to ensure that sustainability considerations are included in our decision making process. The company relies on the Sustainability Committee (“SCoM”) and the Sustainability Working Group (“SWG”) to drive and oversee these efforts. SCoM, comprising representatives from TDM’s Head of Companies and selected Head of Departments, overseeing the sustainability related framework, strategy, priorities, targets, policies and practices of the Company and its subsidiaries so as to ensure that the initiatives undertaken by the Group pertaining to sustainability are aligned with, promote and encourage the Group’s commitment towards sustainability. Working in tandem with SCoM, the SWG, comprising representatives from Plantation, Healthcare, and the Corporate Office, actively implements, monitors, and promotes sustainability initiatives. This dual approach ensures that TDM’s dedication to responsible and sustainable practices remains at the forefront of its operations.
