The name Nestle is world renowned as a nutrition, health and wellness company. Nestle Malaysia employs more than 6,200 people and operates seven factories and one NDC. It has been a public-listed company since 1989 and achieved a turnover of RM4.8bio in 2013

Nestle believes that in order to create value in the long-term for their shareholders, they must also create value for the society. They call this Creating Shared Value (CSV). CSV focusses on three areas: Nutrition, Water & Environment and Rural Development. Nestle Healthy Kids Programme (Community): A nutrition education programme aimed at raising nutrition, health and wellness awareness and promoting physical activity among school age children around the world.

The societal benefit of this project is: To improve nutrition knowledge and eating habits, as well as encourage greater physical activity among children, resulting in a healthier future.
