Yippi has also garnered numerous industry accolades resulting in TOGL being named one of the top companies in its field.

Leveraging on the strength of its technological innovations, TOGL is amongst the few technology companies which achieved business growth and development during the Covid-19 pandemic, as the fleet and responsive team was quick to help individuals and companies, namely small medium business (SMBs) and small medium enterprises (SMEs), in building and creating opportunities for new revenue streams.

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has adversely affected many offline SMBs and SMEs, underscored the critical need to digitize businesses and operations. Knowing this, TOGL has enabled them to create and improve upon their eCommerce businesses to meet their customers where they are.

Under the stewardship of its Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Michael Toh, the company hopes to achieve its mission to be the largest app community in Southeast Asia. In addition, TOGL hopes to create entrepreneurial platforms for individuals as well as SMEs, and to develop new technology constantly to benefit people from all walks of life.

The company keeps its finger on the pulse of market demands by staying abreast of significant changes that impact its business operations. TOGL’s management also vigilantly stream-lines the company’s day-to-day operations so as to achieve a better and more sustainable business model, thus enabling the company to weather the economic crisis wrought by Covid-19 and the ensuing lockdowns.

Additionally, the company was able to integrate diversified platforms into its products and develop a strong support ecosystem where resources were shared among its brands.

As a company dedicated to growth and betterment, TOGL also supports its employees in realizing their full potential by providing continuous development programs and career enhancement opportunities. Such initiatives include Alibaba Cloud professional training, self-improvement courses and soft skills programs requested by the respective departments for their staff.

TOGL hopes to continue offering more opportunities, especially for young creators to showcase and sell their works, build their own businesses and become entrepreneurs.

The tech company is also firmly committed to several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. In 2020, at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, TOGL Technology launched Yippi Care, which is expressly aimed at undertaking the company’s corporate responsibility programmes.

Yippi Care organized fundraising campaigns, where all the proceeds were donated to the Malaysian government for use by frontline personnel in addressing the outbreak.

Fundraisers were also organized to raise funds for Hubei Charity Federation, the designated recipient of international donations for Hubei Province, the epicentre of the outbreak in China. To date, Yippi Care has successfully raised more than RM720,000 in cash.

The company believes that beyond the prospect of potential clients, the recognition at the ACES would be a testament to the tireless perseverance and of its employees.

“Many tech and app companies now know that technology needs to be bolstered by heart if true success is to be attained. TOGL has indeed started promisingly, and will be one of the SMEs to note in the year to come.”
