Established in 1955 Meinhardt has led the way in delivering innovative, highly technological and buildable designs that always consider their clients’ commercial objectives and global environmental concerns. The firm employs over 4,500 staff in 48 offices worldwide and have worked on some of the largest and most complex building and infrastructure projects. Annually the Group undertakes projects worth an estimated US$20 billion and ranks among the largest independent engineering firms globally by revenue.

In a world characterised by rapidly changing technologies, Meinhardt remains committed to delivering bespoke engineering solutions that provide clients with safe, cost-effective and sustainable engineering outcomes.

This is achieved through the extensive use of in-house state-of-the art computational design processes involving building information modelling, digital design platforms, parametric modelling, computational fluid dynamic simulations and customised scripting, and optimisation tools. Meinhardt believes in challenging the status quo and delivering quality work that consistently exceeds clients’ expectations – more than 50% of them are repeat customers.

Since setting up its first office here in Singapore in 1973, Meinhardt has grown in tandem with Singapore over the last four decades, playing a significant role in engineering some of its most iconic structures. Projects that Meinhardt was involved in included One Raffles Place (tallest building outside North America at time of construction), One Raffles Quay, Marina Bay Financial Centre, The Sail @ Marina Bay, Resorts World Sentosa, and Tanjong Pagar Centre. Meinhardt also developed Singapore’s infrastructure capabilities by working on projects such as Changi Airport Terminal 1 Upgrading, Interchanges on Ayer Rajah Expressway and segments of the Singapore MRT and Deep Tunnel Sewerage System.

In 2014 with support from the Singapore Economic Development Board, Meinhardt established two new centres of excellence – one on Smart Cities Consultancy and the other on Project & Construction Management Consultancy. These centres serve as critical platforms for Meinhardt to develop smart-urban infrastructure planning and design capabilities to take on more complex urban infrastructure projects and to groom local talent in urban infrastructure. These centres reinforce Meinhardt’s position as one of Asia’s key providers for advanced engineering consultancy within the urban development space.
