First of all, we would like to say, on behalf of CCBPI, thank you very much to the ACES Awards committee for this wonderful honour. It’s going to be a great inspiration for the ten thousand or so associates of Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. to receive this award. It had certainly inspired us to go to the greater height as we work towards a world without waste. You know, we have over 7641 islands in the Philippines and it’s our goal to bring our “a world without waste” vision to each and every one of those islands. We want to impact all the communities that we served, and what better ways to inspire us than an award like this. So again, on behalf of everyone from Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc., thank you thank you very much.

I think for me, the most meaningful contribution that my team and I have made is in terms of truly advancing and driving sustainability at BDO Unibank. As the largest bank in the Philippines, we have the responsibility to drive national economic development. And now we are driving environmental and social impact and good governance as well. So, from us and for me personally, it’s advocacy for sustainability for the future and it’s bringing to life our tagline of “We find ways”. In this case, we find ways for our customers, our communities, and our country.

This award goes to the people, to the organisation and to the leaders that I have in this organisation in building what it is today in the focus and concern that we have for employees with a strong tenet around the family value. To be human, we need to be humane. And in this society, that’s the way to build organisation, and people and empowerment. And I would like to salute my co-leaders who are also presence with me today that have supported and build this mission to a longer and longer, as long as we would like this organisation to be. Thank you so much.

Two things that we’ve done and we’ve been most proud of as SEC commissioner is firstly the digital transformation roadmap, we’ve implemented additional transformation at the SEC, trying to make sure that our services now work class on or online and fully digitalized and secondly of course the crafting of the sustainable finance roadmap for the SEC we are able to create the different sustainable finance framework for implementation within the Philippines and of course also within the CN. We’re very, very proud of that in particular and I’d like to think we’ve made a contribution both in the technology side and on the sustainability side. Thank you.

At this point in my life I hope I have made a positive impact on people and in this world although I’m just a speck of dust but looking into that I guess what I wanted to do next or what I wanted to encourage others personally is to implement this living range because automatically if you implement living range that will definitely lead people out of poverty and if they are out of poverty they can have access to the basic human needs, they can also afford other services and what is good for people will always be good for business.
